Hammer Time!!! . I bought this group of excavation kits for my 7-year old dinosaur enthusiast, and I have to say...BEST GIFT EVER!!!!! She, along with various family members, hammered away at the clay brick for hours looking for bones. Each dinosaur comes with its own stand with the name of the dinosaur which is wonderful for a child who likes to display his/her creations. My daughter had her favorite dinosaur book with her the entire time, and she taught all of us about the dinosaurs and all of the bones as she dug them out. We will definitely be purchasing more of these kits for future fun...the next one we are looking at is the Mammoth excavation kit. This is definitely messy, so keep the broom and dustpan close. That should be obvious given the fact that you are chipping away at a brick of compacted sand, though.This is definitely a MUST for young dinosaur lovers and future paleontologists :)

Dig a Dino 3 pack . I have had a few of these type of products from various venders. I liked the price for this one and the extras that came with each dino were well worth every penny. This one is more educational with a fact card and set up for each dino. My son loved it and wanted more once they were gone. A wider selection would be great!! Loved this product, but not for neat freak parents!!!
