My First Organics Classroom Bundle Reviews - IDEAL FOR preK-3 TEACHERS
Teach kids early about the origins of healthy food and why it's so good for them and the Earth. Made for Preschoolers to 3rd graders, science is at the heart of each My First Organics Classroom Bundle. Environmental and nutritional connections are introduced, too.

Start with "How a Garden Saves the Earth", a full color, 24-page children's book about kids growing their own fruits and vegetables. It also simplistically explains the importance of locally grown, sustainable food and how it is connected to their health and that of the planet.

Each child chooses from 5 different organic seed varieties and plants it in their own biodegradable pot. The class can monitor the growth of their herbs and veggies inside of mini-greenhouses that sit on the windowsill. When ready, they can put the plants - pot and all - in a class or home garden and wait for the harvest! Teachers can reuse the greenhouse year after year.

The Teacher Resource Pack includes blackline masters and instructions for PreK-3 teachers. The complete lesson embodies standards-based learning in science, mathematics and language arts through relevant, hands-on activities.

Recycle, reuse, biodegrade - everything in the kit is Earth-safe!

Each My First Organics Classroom Kit Includes: (1) One full-size color story book. (5) Five packets of certified organic seeds (approximately 100 seeds) - red cherry tomato, yellow cherry tomato, snap pea, parsley, basil. (3) Three bags of soil certified for organic production. (24) Twenty-four recyclable wood stakes. (24) Twenty-four organic biodegradable Dot Pots. (3) Three packets of organic plant food. (3) Three mini-greenhouses - reusable, recyclable, lead-free, food-grade plastic. (1) One Teacher Resource Pack. Proudly made in the USA!

LOVE My First Organics . I ordered the Classroom Bundle for my daughter's kindergarten last year and was really happy with it. Her teacher and the other children loved it too! Teaching children about how your food gets to your table is an invaluable lesson and My First Organics helps to highlight the benefits of eating healthy and caring for our environment. I can't say enough good things about Surf City Growers. They are amazing!

Best cure for an ailing planet! . I love these products! They are so easy to use that even someone with a black thumb like me can actually become a farmer!

Kids will want to eat ONLY Healthy Food! . Nothing compares with "hands-on" learning. Plant a seed, watch it sprout, plant the sprout, and then yummmmmmm, eat the result! Children will have fun and love the right food!
